Bookings & Payments
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers for tour bookings.
For credit card payments, we use a secure payment gateway that ensures your financial information is protected. Bank transfers are available for bookings made at least 14 days in advance.
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance for popular tours, especially during peak season (June to September). However, some tours can be booked with 48 hours notice depending on availability.
For specialized or private tours, we recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance to ensure availability of our expert guides and any special arrangements you might require.
For standard tours, we require full payment at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
For multi-day tours or custom packages over €500, we offer the option to pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the tour date.
Tour Information
Most of our tours are family-friendly, but we recommend checking the specific tour details as some may involve long walking distances or activities not suitable for young children. Tours marked 'Family-Friendly' are specifically designed with children in mind.
We offer discounted rates for children under 12 years old on most of our tours. Children under 3 years old can join most tours free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
Yes, most of our tours can be arranged as private experiences for an additional fee. Please contact us through our booking form to arrange a private tour.
Private tours offer greater flexibility in terms of start times, duration, and customized itineraries. They're ideal for families, corporate groups, or travelers seeking a personalized experience.
Our standard tours are conducted in English and German. We can arrange guides who speak French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese for an additional fee with advance notice.
For groups of 8 or more people, we can often provide a guide in your preferred language at no extra cost if booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
Trip Preparation
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a water bottle, and your camera. Any specific items needed will be mentioned in your booking confirmation email.
For outdoor tours, consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, and a light raincoat or umbrella, as German weather can be unpredictable even in summer.
It depends on the specific tour. Transportation information is clearly listed in each tour description. For day trips that visit multiple locations, transportation is typically included.
For city walking tours, public transportation tickets may be required and can either be purchased on your own or through your guide at the start of the tour.
While not mandatory, we strongly recommend that all travelers have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
For adventure tours or multi-day trips, travel insurance is particularly important. We can recommend reliable travel insurance providers if needed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the tour date receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3-6 days before the tour date receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 72 hours before the tour are non-refundable.
For private tours and custom packages, special cancellation terms may apply, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process.
If we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, safety concerns, insufficient participants, etc.), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule for a later date.
We make every effort to notify customers of cancellations at least 24 hours in advance, though some circumstances (such as unexpected weather events) may result in last-minute changes.
Yes, you can reschedule your tour up to 72 hours before the original tour date, subject to availability, with no additional fee. Rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours before the tour may incur a change fee.
To reschedule, please contact our customer service team with your booking reference number and preferred new date.

Yes, we offer gift certificates for all our tours. Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used for any tour (subject to availability).
